By Gerry Power – Business Applications Group Lead at MicroWarehouse
Microsoft Ireland is launching Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central in the Republic of Ireland this October 2020.
To prepare our partners for the launch of this hero product, MicroWarehouse has organised the following series of training webinars.
On the 16th September, we are delighted to announce that Karl O’Leary, the new Business Applications Group Lead for Western Europe will share with us some data and insights into how Business Central is selling across Western Europe where it has been generally available for the last couple of years. Ireland’s own Business Group lead, Niall Fitzmaurice, will then help you to prepare for the product launch by sharing Microsoft Ireland’s plans for October. Carl Wallace, our Territory Channel Manager, will ask you to help Microsoft Ireland make some market noise and generate some product excitement within your own customer and prospect networks. Finally, we discuss the benefits of working with MWH, our partner enablement training and our Dynamics 365 Partner to Partner delivery model.
Before this session, next Thursday, the 3rd of September, we will introduce you to The Business Central Opportunity – we will explain what Business Central is and what makes it so special. In addition to its unique selling points, we will show how Business Central anchors the entire Microsoft Business Applications suite including Azure, Office365, SharePoint, Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform, including Power BI. This is why we call Business Central a hero product. As an operational and back-office application, it offers partners the quintessential “land and expand” opportunity.
We will follow this on the 9th September with a session training our partners on How to Demo Business Central. We will start with the Business Central pitch you should use to position Business Central to your customers and prospects. We will then present our 20 minute demo script which has been designed for you to learn and deliver yourselves. We will show you not only how to deliver this Demo Script but also how to log onto Business Central, personalise the demo environment and import sample data to show off Business Central targeted at your specific prospect’s business. Personalising demonstrations is a key component to selling Business Central effectively. If a prospect sees their own products, customers, suppliers and staff in the product demo, they are more likely to understand how Business Central can radically and digitally transform their business operations. We will end this session with a look at some of the WOW features that the latest version of Business Central offers to really dazzle your prospects.
Finally on the 23rd September, in The Sage Compete Workshop, we will explain to you why Business Central is so much more compelling than the competition. It’s not just the ERP product, it’s the platform that the product leverages. We will give you resources to help you articulate these benefits to your customers and to your prospects, to handle their objections and to help them trial Business Central.
Get ready – Business Central is coming….
