Where does the time go? It’s almost time again for MicroWarehouse’s next Cloud Camp Quarterly event. After our inaugural virtual event held last April, we are following up with yet another strong line up of presenters, the focus this time will be on Microsoft Azure.
The all-day virtual event takes place on Thursday 10th June and we have no less than four Microsoft Valued Professionals (MVPs), a Microsoft Senior Cloud Advocate and a Microsoft Senior Program Manager all lined up to speak.
These speakers have been carefully selected for their knowledge and expertise and you now have a great opportunity to learn some value insights into their areas of expertise with Azure.
Something for everyone
It doesn’t matter if you’re new to Azure or have years of Azure experience under your belt, we have sessions lined up that everyone can learn from.
We are delighted to have Aidan Finn (MVP) delivering a session on Azure networking fundamentals, an important skillset that is often overlooked when it comes to implementing infrastructure-as-a-service deployments.
Maybe you are looking to move your first workload to the cloud? Sarah Lean is a well-known cloud advocate from Microsoft and she will present a session on Azure Migrate and talk about the migration path, tooling and estimating your Azure costs.
We also have a joint session from Belgian MVPs Wim Matthyssen and Karel De Winter on ‘7 habits every Azure admin must have’, another must see session no matter what level of experience you have.
Something a little more specialised
If you are interested in Windows Virtual Desktop, then you won’t want to miss Patrick Köhler’s session on MSIX App Attach as a new way to deliver applications instead of traditional image management methods.
You may have heard of Microsoft’s cloud native SIEM product – Azure Sentinel? If you have been thinking about how to build a managed service offering around this service for your customers then you will definitely want to check out Javier Soriano’s session on this subject.
The session line up:
• The Fundamentals of Azure Networking – Aidan Finn
• Container up your applications – Is MSIX App Attach the future of App Delivery? – Patrick Köhler
• Building a managed service on top of Azure Sentinel – Javier Soriano
• Start your datacentre transformation journey with Azure Migrate – Sarah Lean
• 7 habits every Azure Admin must have – Wim Matthyssen and Karel De Winter
As is usual for Cloud Camp, we will also have a final session of the afternoon which is our roundtable “Ask the experts” session where you get to ask your questions to our presenters.
Cloud Camp is free to attend and if you’re a MicroWarehouse partner you will also get access to the on-demand content free of charge.
